Mark Greenaway

Mark Greenaway is a Edinburgh-based chef and restaurateur. He is chef and owner of Restaurant Mark Greenaway, voted one of the UKs Top 100 Restaurants in 2014, and recently opened Bistro Moderne. Greenaway has represented Scotland on BBC2's Great British Menu in 2012 and 2013, and is also a weekly columnist for the Edinburgh Evening News.
==Career==

Greenaway opened his restaurant on Picardy Place, Edinburgh, in 2011. It later moved to North Castle Street. It was the only Scottish restaurant awarded 3 AA Rosettes〔("The AA Awards Seven Restaurants with Three Rosettes" ), ''Big Hospitality'', London, 17 January 2012.〕 and was added to the Restaurant Magazine UK Top 100 Restaurants in 2014.〔("UK Top 100 Restaurants - The Results" ), ''Restaurant Magazine'', London, 30 June 2014.〕
In April 2012 Greenaway represented Scotland on the BBC’s cookery program Great British Menu, and again in 2013 for the series Great British Menu Does Comic Relief. Later in 2013, Greenaway took part in a BBC2 documentary series called Teen Canteen,〔("BBC2 - Teen Canteen" )〕 in which students from Linlithgow Academy in Scotland set out to start up a healthy take-away business. He has also made appearances on Newsnight on BBC2 and Sunday Brunch on Channel 4. Greenaway is a columnist for the Edinburgh Evening News〔("Mark Greenaway Launches Weekly Column" ), ''Edinburgh Evening News'',〕 with his weekly recipe printed every Friday.
